One engineer, one workshop, everything made here
I'm Marc — Dr Marc Holmes. I spent eight years in research at Swansea University, earning an EngD in Materials & Process Simulation, with a doctoral thesis modelling the inside of a blast furnace. Along the way I worked with Tata Steel on the kind of heavy industrial simulation most people never see.
These days the lab is a cabin in SE9. I design and make original products end to end — from the first CAD sketch to the finished object in your hands. Five brands, one workshop, everything made here.
HolmesDoesTech is where I take on the bespoke work: the discontinued part nobody stocks anymore, the custom component, the thing that only exists in your head until it's on the bench.
